1st AML-ACC National Science Festival 2014

In December 2014, NASC launched what would become its flagship tradition: the 1st AML-ACC National Science Festival. Over three days, students from institutions across the country came to our campus to compete, display their work, and celebrate science.

The first edition featured olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Informatics, along with a project display in mechanical, non-mechanical, and IT categories. There were also wall magazine displays, a quiz competition with preliminary and final rounds, a Rubik’s Cube contest, and an IQ test. The project display was open to both school and college students, while the other events were for college students. Judges from Dhaka University and BUET evaluated the competitions.

The festival opened with an inauguration ceremony on the second day and closed with two prize-giving ceremonies on the final day. It laid the foundation for every ACC National Science Festival that followed.
