In 2018, the festival returned as the ACC National Carnival – Science Festival, a three-day event for invited schools and colleges from across the country. This edition focused on NASC’s core strengths.
Junior and Senior participants competed in olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, plus a Sudoku olympiad. Other events included mechanical and non-mechanical project displays, wall magazines, and science fiction story writing. The Rubik’s Cube competition had boys’ Junior and Senior groups and a combined girls’ category. As with every edition, judges from Dhaka University and BUET made sure the competitions were fair and of high quality.
