Ifthakher Sakin

About ABSTRACT

I’m Ifthaker Sakin, an Industrial and Production Engineering graduate from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), with a strong interest in leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, data analytics, and continuous improvement.

During my time at NASC, I served as Vice President of Law and Discipline, where I helped ensure the smooth and disciplined execution of events at our college and at other colleges. Beyond event management, I actively contributed ideas for new initiatives and innovations that helped take our club to the next level. This experience strengthened my leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills while teaching me how to turn ideas into meaningful outcomes.

My professional journey has also involved entrepreneurship and innovation in the automotive industry, particularly through my work at GearON Bangladesh Ltd., where I contributed to business development, technical processes, and operational improvements.

Currently, I am working as a Data Analyst in the Operations team at British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB). My responsibilities include analyzing departmental data, developing visualizations for management at different levels, coordinating operational processes, and ensuring alignment with global audit standards.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, exploring new ideas, and embracing challenges that help me grow. I aspire to combine leadership, analytical thinking, and innovation to create meaningful impact in organizations and society.
